We are seeking a dedicated and detail oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team. Part time but possibility for full time

The ideal candidate will support our Dental Hygienist in providing high-quality oral care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. This role involves assisting with patient preparation, sterilizing instruments, taking radiographs and assisting with periodontal charting and general restorative charting during exams.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments and materials

Sterilize instruments and disinfect rooms and equipment according to infection control protocols

Take Digital x-rays as needed

Update patient health history and blood pressure prior to cleaning

Ensure a clean and organized work environment

Provide excellent patient care by making the patients feel comfortable and addressing any concerns

Qualificiations

Trained on taking digital Radiographs

Previous experience with dental software, with the ability to learn Denticon

Able to take alginate impression

Bonus: Polishing and sealant certified, but not a must
